Concept
A sound design and foley experiment created in Ableton Live, exploring how music and carefully placed sound effects can reshape the energy, rhythm and atmosphere of a film scene. I built the audio in separate layers before bringing everything together for the final sequence.
The music
I created the background music in Ableton Live to establish the pace and atmosphere of the scene. The track works as the foundation, building tension and movement before any of the individual sound effects are introduced.
The sound effects
Built separately from the music, this layer focuses on the physical world of the scene. Movement, impacts, web actions and environmental details were timed and layered in Ableton Live to give the visuals weight and make each action feel more immediate.
Final mix
Where everything comes togetherThe final sequence combines the original music and sound effects into one complete mix. Timing, rhythm and movement come together here, showing how the individual audio layers change the feeling of the scene once they are experienced alongside the visuals.
